Three Bedrooms to accommodate six people - one king bed, one queen bed, two single beds

Sunflower Lodge is full of charm with full gas central heating, and its own pretty private, fully fenced garden and covered terrace. 

The accommodation comprises a well equipped kitchen, lounge and separate dining room. In the Lodge itself, there is a mezzanine bedroom with a king size bed and a separate twin bedroom. The adjacent Potting Shed is a ground floor suite offering a lovely double bedroom with lots of beams, and en-suite shower/WC. The Potting Shed is ideal for the grandparents, an older child seeking more privacy, perhaps, or for two couples sharing.

  • Superb accommodation in an ideal location

    We rented Sunflower Lodge & The Potting Shed for our summer holiday this year, and what a great decision it turned out to be. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and all the bedding/towels/etc freshly laundered and ready for use. Everything you could need is included, from kitchen foil through to dishwasher tablets. There is more room than we would ever require indoors for a family of four - not that we needed it with the fantastic weather. The owners, Joy and Ian, are lovely people. They were always happy to answer any queries we had, and clearly had a genuine interest in us having the best possible holiday experience. The village of Villemorin is pretty and quiet, and ideal for stargazing under the dark skies. If you are interested in night time photography, the communal garden affords a superb view of the Milky Way. There are many places to visit within a reasonable drive, including La Rochelle, Saintes, Rochefort, Ile De Re - the list goes on. In summary, Sunflower Lodge & The Potting Shed exceeded our expectations and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
